Kyle Lewis is dynamic. The Mariners look to be exciting with youthful exuberance and compete in the AL West this season.

2020 Record: 27-33

The Mariners were 2 wins away from making the playoffs last season, and they will keep getting better. Look for Seattle to be exciting with their young players and surprise teams in the American League in 2021. The goal for Seattle should be the playoffs, and any attempt at regaining relevance will help them.

Tier: 4 (Wild Card Straggler)

The Mariners are a step behind the Astros as of right now, but will jump them in the coming years. Luckily for them, an expanded postseason helps increase their chances to make the playoffs and possibly play them. A victory over Houston would solidify them as the future of the AL West. Their competition in reaching that feat is the Angels, who have more veterans and overall talent on the bat side of things. The Mariners are back, though, and look to finally win something in the near future.
