Look Ahead to 2021 Season: Pirates

They're the pirates, come on. What can one expect from them? 5th in the NL Central. They lost Josh Bell, too.

2020 Record: 19-41

The Pirates don't have much to look forward to, and they might as well get ready to be at the bottom of the NL once again. The Marlins sat in their shoes two years ago, and then made the playoffs in 2020. Could the Pirates do that? Is there something we don't know? No chance in a 162 game season. That 0.0% chance stat the blew everyone's mind about the Orioles' playoff chances should've been given to Pittsburgh. Also, isn't it statistically impossible to have zero chance? Maybe not for the Pirates.

Tier: 5 (Bottomfeeder)

There's really not much to say. Pittsburgh can't make the playoffs, expanded or not. Their division already has the Cubs and Cardinals who should make it as the top two seeds in the division, and last season saw the Reds and Brewers as the 7 and 8 seeds in the postseason bracket. Pittsburgh has a nice ballpark.
