Look Ahead to 2021 Season: Angels

Mike Trout needs to be in the playoffs. The playoffs need Mike Trout. Baseball needs him there. Make it happen, Anaheim!

2020 Record: 26-34

The Halos haven't done enough for the GOAT, and Mookie might be coming for his title. Trout needs to be in the playoffs. It's good for baseball if he's in there. Imagine MJ not being in the playoffs. The Angels have a great lineup, but their pitching woes haven't been answered in free agency yet, and it doesn't seem like they'll score any big names. Dylan Bundy will carry them!

Tier: 4 (Wild Card Straggler)

The Astro's descent will help them elevate Mike Trout and company to the promised land, but the pitching thing is bad. Ohtani will be used as both a pitcher and hitter, but they need a staff recall for continued success outside of the regular season. It's been too long for the Angels and their fans. They also will have to fight off a feisty Seattle team loaded with young talent if they want to even make the postseason.
