Look Ahead to 2021 Season: Royals

It doesn't seem plausible for Kansas City to get one of the wild card spots in the AL. One would assume 4th/5th place in the AL Central.
2020 Record: 26-34
The Royals are not competing for a playoff berth this year, even with an expanded postseason. There are three locks to be better than them in the AL Central, so KC is competing with Detroit for better draft stock this season.
Tier: 5 (Bottomfeeder)
A 60 game season made their record a little more inflated than advertised, and in a 162 game season they probably can't win half their games. They might be slightly better than the Tigers and Orioles, but not many other teams in the AL. They can only hope to improve through their farm system and should be bringing up prospects left and right.
