Southeast Division TS% Leaders in the Clutch
Updated: Apr 10, 2021
The East is wide open, and the Southeast has some teams that could possibly earn home court advantage in the first round.

Listed below are charts displaying 30 players: the top six performers for each Southeast team according to TS% in Clutch Time, which is defined as the combination of FG%, 3P%, and FT% in the last five minutes of a game in which teams are within five points of each other.
Charlotte

The Hornets are dealing with their fair share of injuries, but LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward aren't on this list anyway, and Charlotte's backcourt of Devonte' Graham and Terry Rozier is shooting over 75% TS, a very good clip. The Hornets will want them in close games if they make the playoffs.
Atlanta

We know the firepower and heroics of Trae Young, and his contributions in clutch time are very respectable. Tony Snell had a game-winner this year, and the data shows him as the high man for Atlanta in Clutch time, shooting over 80% TS. The Hawks have multiple guys playing very well in close games, and should be a threat in the playoffs if their firepower remains consistent.
Miami

Miami's role players are struggling in the Clutch, but we saw their 2020 postseason run, so this team will have to prove it can match that performance this postseason. Jimmy G. Buckets and Bam are carrying the clutch load this year, so far.
Washington

Bradley Beal is at the bottom of this list, but given his volume and the fact that he's above 50%, he is still their best option, and if you watch him play, he is unequivocally the best scorer on this team, obviously.
Orlando

Orlando traded away all their veteran assets besides Terrence Ross, and their young star Markelle Fultz is out for the season. They are getting impressive Clutch numbers from the two rookies listed as well as former Rookie of the Year MCW. They're not winning, though.
